As previous gallery director, Silvana Foti curated numerous highly acclaimed regional, national and international art exhibitions. She was instrumental in the opening of the David McCune International Art Gallery at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina as well as creating the gallery’s advisory board.

As an experienced professor of art, Silvana has more than 20 years' teaching at the college level, serving as coordinator for visual arts education and serving as department chair. She is also an accomplished artist with a background in printmaking and ceramic sculpture.
