Testament” is a collection of 20 photographs and w riting by Hondros spanning over a decade of coverage from most of the world’s conflicts since the late 1990s, including Kosovo; Afghanistan; the West Bank;Iraq, Liberia; Egypt, and Libya. Hondros a Fayetteville, native, is an award winning photojournalist, and a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist. It was reported on April 20, 2011, that Hondros had been fatally wounded in a mortar attack by government forces in Mistrata while covering the 2011 Libyan civil war. Hondros died from his injuries as a result of severe brain trauma.

Silvana worked with Christiana Piaia, Hondros’ fiancée and president of the Chris Hondros Fund and Mary Hauser, registar at the Gregg Museum, NC State University, to create this exhibition.
